NEW Parking Division Online Permit Registration Renewal for Students
All returning Departments of Residence students and Frederiksen Court residents with a signed housing contract may begin purchasing a parking permit June 15.
New students and transfer students with a signed housing contract may begin purchasing parking permits July 15th.
Permits will be sent to your residence hall or Frederiksen Court address before the start of classes. Permits will be processed on a first come first served basis and MUST be ordered through AccessPlus. Cost will be added to your Ubill.
Schilletter and University Village residents must come to the Parking Division, 27 Armory, after August 3 to purchase their permit.
College of Veterinary Medicine students may begin purchasing Lot 93 permits June 15th. Permits will be delivered August 19 to the college and students will be required to show ID to obtain permit. Permits must be ordered through AccessPlus and the cost will be added to your Ubill.
Commuter students (those living outside of Ames) may purchase a Lot 29/29B permit beginning August 6. Permits will be mailed to the address supplied. Permits MUST be ordered through AccessPlus and the cost will be added to your Ubill. If space is available after the first week of classes, we may open up commuter lots to students who live in Ames.
NEW Parking Division Online Permit Registration Renewal for Faculty and Staff
Online Staff Renewal
The online faculty and staff parking permit renewal process will be from, May 1 through June 30,2009. If you do not register for your permit online before June 30th, you will need to come to the Parking Division office, Room 27 Armory, to fill out all the necessary paperwork.
To renew your permit, sign on to AccessPlus (accessplus.iastate.edu), click the “employee” tab and then “parking division.” The information we currently have on file for you will be displayed. You will need to verify the information is correct, select your current campus address, your PRIMARY vehicle and then click “submit” on the permit page.
If you are currently enrolled in the payroll deduction program, your renewal will continue to be paid via payroll deduction. If you paid in full for your permit last year, your renewal payment will be added to your U-bill. Y ou may pay your U-bill directly to the Treasurer’s Office (1220 Beardshear).
New permits will be mailed out to the address you selected during registration. Please remember to destroy (shred) your old permit as soon as you receive your new one.
The online option is available only to faculty and staff who are renewing parking permits on personal vehicles.
You’ll still need to drop by the parking office or send the appropriate paperwork if you are wishing to change your permit type, purchasing a departmental or vendor permit, or buying any kind of permit with an intramural purchase order.
