Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act
This chart
includes offenses that are compiled as required in the provisions of the Jeanne
Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus
Crime Statistics Act. The figures depicted include offenses that were reported
to law enforcement agencies including the ISU Department of Public Safety, Ames
Police Department and Story County Sheriff's Office. In addition the university
collects information from campus officials with substantial responsibility for
campus life (primarily through the Dean of Students and Department of
Residence). DPS monitors criminal activity reported to local police that may
affect off-campus locations owned or controlled by officially recognized
student organizations. Criminal activity for these locations is also included
in this report. These statistics do not include privileged counseling or
medical information from the Student Counseling Service or
