Fall 2011
Blog-Pen Project

People in Iowa spend a lot of time in their cars. And people do a lot of crazy things while driving and riding.

Get A Grip is looking for media team
partners to work with program staff to create online content that will generate interest and discussion.

The Drive-Ride Project is about sharing information in the hope of changing driving and riding behavior so we all safely reach our destinations.

During 2000-2009, over 4,600 16-24 year olds were seriously injured in Iowa traffic crashes.

Drivers ages 16-24 typically represent over 30% of all Iowa drinking/impaired drivers in fatal and serious injury crashes.
