In addition to media and public information campaigns, you can use this 6-minute training model to help others get informed by breaking down information into small chunks. Try it at the beginning of a class, meeting, or activity.

Demonstrate (3 minutes):
Explain 3-4 main points that you would like the group to know about a topic.

Discuss (1 minute):
Ask members of the group to turn to someone close to them and have a quick discussion about the main points.
You may want to have a visual as a reminder of the main points.

Review (2 minutes):
Review and clarify the main points with the large group.
