College Life.

The world's greatest internship.

A place where you will be influenced by many things, but ultimately you get to choose what you learn and who the right teachers are for you.

You are in control of your life now.

Your college years may be filled with highs and lows, but YOU are designing your experience. If you have challenges one semester, readjust. If your semester was amazing, pinpoint reasons why and strive to make each semester just as rewarding.

An education.

What makes you happy? What makes you great? You've come to the right place to find these answers. Yes, you are here to get a degree and learn skills necessary to land the perfect career. BUT, there are many other things you learn while living away from home.

Make time for fun.

Do your best but don't stress out. Take breaks, have hobbies outside of school, join clubs, be creative, go out with friends. Your experiences are just as valuable as your classwork.

Your Playlist.

Music may play a big part in the sound track of your life. Music can influence our mood and can take us other places. When we need to feel a certain way and own an emotion, music can get us to that place and hold our attention.

You’re walking across campus, earbuds in.

What does your playlist say about you? Are you approachable?
Do you want to be?

Are you happy, sad, upset?
Maybe this is your time, a few minutes in a day full of people and noise;
a chance to reload and refresh.

What happens when the playlist stops?

Do your interactions change?
Does your mood change?
Do you assume the world will interact with you or is it your responsibility?

Music can set the tone for our day. The same goes for the decisions we make on a daily basis. Should you start studying for an exam coming up next week or hang out with your friends? Hanging out would make you happy now, but failing that test next week will do just the opposite. Find a mix for your playlist that will help you get where you want to go.
